Rubies is the worlds largest manufacturer and distributor of Halloween and Carnival products, toys and accessories. Rubies began in 1951 by Rubin and Tillie Beige as a neighborhood candy store in Queens, New York. Rubie began to experiment with new ideas, introducing a line of novelty hats. As neighborhood drama teachers began patronizing the Fun House, the stores reputation grew. With each year came new and strange requests (the stranger the better!) Halloween products now consist of costumes, masks, boxed costume sets, accessories, makeup, wigs, prosthetics, theatrical costumes and other specialty designed products. Rubies also manufactures a wide array of Carnival, Christmas and toy merchandise.
